That is a hard call. I saw a SBA with traces of that color in an album once. Like it was just starting. Why is the obv facing the back though?

When one has a coin slabbed, they can request to have either side facing forward. Normally the reverse is facing forward when that side has the nicer toning or something else that is special (to the submitter). With this SBA, I have no idea why the reverse was chosen to face forward (my guess would be that the submitter like the reverse design or toning more than the obverse).

I'd have to go QT on that one.

Yeah, I have no idea on this one. I think it is pretty which is hard to say about any SBA so I’m going

    NT/MA

It has the colors that are associated with artificial toning, but I believe that coin is NT.

This simply has the AT/QC look to me, I suspect gassing to be the reason.
If I was to buy a SBA I would want it to have some deep tones, and a lot of color. The coin just doesn't do anything for me.
I went and looked at most auctions that were available both NGC and PCGS. I could not find any SBA's that had anywhere near that tone or depth.
Doesn't anyone think that if it was graded this way, that it would be a plate coin on coin facts?
    I say AT/ QC.
