1 bank tonight had 19 Ikes, a few of which are BU.

I picked up my 2 boxes of halves, and asked for an order of large dollar coins...Fingers crossed.

Visiting wife’s family in Oregon. Bought $150 CWRs & $9 in loose halves. Went through them with wife, cousins, and nephew. Nephew is a novice collector. Found some good stuff:
    1965
    1987-P
8 x 1990s decade Philly obverse die cracks
Nephew was finding the die cracks left and right! The 1987-P is a really nice coin. Gave all of the finds to him to start a Kennedy folder along with a couple of AU clad coins. His Mom said they will do some trial CRH back home in southern CA.

Couple more decent wheats and a badly worn 1913D.
10 rolls will be done today.

2 of 2 boxes of halves yielded 1 NIFC. Local boxes of halves stink! I’m done for awhile.

Results from searching 15,000 dimes. That’s approximately 1 silver dime per 625 dimes, or one per 12.5 rolls. Both mercury dimes are philly mint.

That's a very good rater of silver for dimes. I have found 2 since I started with dimes. Congrats!

Nothing special, but was actually quite happy to find an almost 20 year old quarter being in this good of condition. One more for my circulation set. :cigar:

$20 CWR Cents: 25 rolls looked like they had been hunted already with no coppers at all, the rest left me 4 wheats, including a 1919 and 266 other coppers

$152 CWR Nickels: No silver or buffs, 74 Jeffs dated '39-'59, and a 2009-P and -D

$450 CWR Dimes: '60 Roosie and a '51 left in the Coinstar

$85.50 loose halves: a '64 and 15 40%-ers. These came from three separate branches - the first teller said she had halves "but they're pretty grimy." 10 of those turned out to be 40%-ers. At another branch the teller told me he had halves "but already looked through them because he saved the ones from 1976 and '64s for silver." I thanked him and still happily agreed to take all he had ($63). That bunch included a '64 that he missed, 4 more 40%-ers, and my first '87 (P) from circulation.

    $28 Ikes - Skunk

All things considered, it's been a good kick off to the holiday season. :)

20181125_161523-1.jpg 20181125_161606-1.jpg I handed this coin to my Son so he could see the copper inside when he noticed the '60 something date. I almost tossed it back! 20181122_174317.jpg 20181122_172858-1.jpg
