This is entirely possible. If the coin is a Virtual Bourse coin then it is possible that the coin's pwner hasn't yet evaluated your offer, though I'd imagine that Kim could check on something like that, though I've never asked her about it specifically.
Doug, I think he is talking about there "pan and zoom" pictures. Flash player seems to be saying there is a way to save them, but I have not figured out what it is yet. As for the standard jpeg pictures on the closed auctions, they szve just like any jpeg.
Apparently shipping is wackier than I recalled: http://coins.ha.com/common/shipping.php But I had wanted to mention it, because when I first started looking at Heritage, I assumed the BP covered shipping etc. and for low end items is a pretty big price increase, especially when added with the BP.
Oh Im glad you guys pointed all this out. So if Im buying something cheap, minimum Buyers fee is $9. Then the shipping starts at $6.10 with an additional $1.15. So If I wanted to buy something cheap, automatically I have to add $16.25 to the price. And thats for anything under $100. Well, thats a good thing to know. But it seems like its a good site for more expensive coins. Coins of atleast a few hundred dollars and higher. Atleast I can feel alot more confortable dealing with them than taking a shot in the dark and hoping some ebay seller treats me fairly and dosent rip me off.
I have made similar offers in the past, Heritage need to contact the seller to see if the offer is acceptable, I didn't hear about the response about my offers for days either, sometimes the offer will be accepted, sometimes the offer is rejected, it depends on the owner of the coin. What I don't like is there is no response about offer unless you nag them.
Chris (aka The Cave Troll) took care of the problem for me. Apparently a glitch occurred and my offer was not recorded. Since there were no other offers the coin became unsold when time expired. Chris got my offer accepted even though time had expired. So I will be able to buy this coin afterall. Thanks, Chris.
It was good of Heritage to get involved and solve your problem. Its good customer service especially with exposure like on this forum.
it looks like it is off your wishlist . i wll soon post another coin so you canr estart your wishlist
Here are pics of the coin from the Heritage web site. I will post better pics after I improve my coin photography skills. (I am taking the Digital Coin Photography course at this summer's ANA Summer Seminar.)
