I don't think the seller photos do the justice the reverse deserves. From experience I know how hard it is to really get good color photos on semi PL fields.

Thanks for that sharp encyclopedic eye of yours! I just bought it because I liked the tone and the grade.:woot:

Hey I love doing it....and sometimes I'm even right:rolleyes:....but most of all everyone always wants to feel like they made a good choice on a purchase.
When you can put the cherry on top for them that's reward enough...nice score my friend.

Just a note on your 1967 Roosevelt. There were no Proofs made during the 1965-67 years. They made Special Mint Sets in place of proofs. Yours is either a very nice, made for circulation coin or an SMS Roosevelt.

That is a killer! It would make a great guess the grade thread.

A Mintmark Above Bow 1875-S Dime in an NGC Details holder for cleaning. I actually think this is a pretty decent looking coin compared to the vast majority of this scarce issue.

A very scarce 1865 Half Dime graded AU50 by PCGS. An excellent coin in a badly smudged holder.

A very attractive original 1894-O Morgan Dollar, graded AU55 by PCGS and stickered by CAC, as if one couldn't tell that it was properly graded.

An attractive, high end PCGS MS63 example of the 1912 Saint.

I cherrypicked this incredibly tough Morgan today. It's a 1900 that was in a yellow ANACS MS-65 holder. The coin was covered in ugly gunk, but I could see some reflective surfaces underneath. I cracked her out and soaked her in acetone and then gave her a bath in MS-70 to get rid of the gunk. This is what was hiding.

Here is a video of the obverse and reverse to show the mirrors.

I edited my original post on the 1900 to give the story of her. I just love finding these gems in the rough. :)
