looks like a misaligned die on 1 side only. it would be an off-center if it was on both sides of the coin. wait for other opinions... very cool find by the way.

I think there are a few things to take into consideration..
Amount of MAD - that's a nice example. Probably the furthest misalignment a coin could have

Age - 1966 is an older Cent so I would pay for an example such as yours for it being over 50 years old.

I would say $4.00 - $6.00 but this is just My Opinion as a collector of all Mint Errors either minor or major.

Neat. That's the most offset misaligned die coin I've seen.

@paddyman98's estimation of value sounds right to me. He knows this stuff pretty well.

I was going to ask that. I'm not an errors guy but this one looked as dramatic as any I have ever seen. Pretty cool find!

Yes. I agree. Usually the MAD's are slight. This one is wide enough to have value.
    Nice one.

Would sending it in to Wex be a good idea ?

It's not an unknown thing. It's just a cool mis aligned die strike.
There's no variety that needs to be attributed. It's a mint error.

I think Wexler attributes just Mint Varieties, not Mint Errors. There is a difference!

Aside from what Paddy said, please keep in mind that coins do not have to receive someone else's stamp of approval to be what they are and/or enjoyed by the individual collector. Similar to TPGs, Wexler's attribution service is a tool; use it wisely and it can benefit you, but use it poorly you'll end up buried (in context, of course).

It's a cool coin that'll always mean more to you than to someone else simply because you found it, and this personal added "value" is something that can make collecting more fun. Nice find. :)

This! I have 2 binders for 2x2s. One for tracking the nicest coins I can find sorted by year. The other for errors/varieties which to 99.99% of the others here are probably not even worth the 2x2 it lives in, but I found it!

Very nice! The more folks realize this hobby is theirs to make of it as they see fit, the better and more healthy it'll become. :)
