How to get a refund on a counterfeit purchased 20 years ago

Dear FSR,
It must be a very credible forgery if it was sold by you, a very experienced and wise dealer, as genuine. It also took the buyer a whole 20 years before he could recognize it as a fake (but perhaps he did not look at it all that often or bothered to compare it with photos of genuine coins in reference books). Anyway, would you be willing to put it up in your next Mail Bid Sale (as a forgery) so that I could have a go at it? It may end up being a valuable addition to my Black Cabinet!

 

As someone who is just now reading and studying and preparing to "dabble" in ancients, tell me please. How common a story is this?

 

Every ancient dealer I've purchased from offeres a lifetime guarantee. I've never done business with @fsrcoin but absolutely would after hearing this story. Good form sir!

99% sure it's the same "FSR" I suspect, and my opinion of him only increases.

I give him FULL kudos for stepping up on this. Not sure I could do the same after 20 years had gone by.

 

20 years later and the guy offered a full refund? Someone link his website so I can go buy something. That is well beyond what I would have expected.

 

After 20 years I don't think there is a next step to take. How can you prove this is the same coin you bought 20 years ago?

I am NOT surprised that Frank S. Robinson guaranteed the coin for life. Frank is a retired federal judge and an honest man and an honest dealer.

I've been a customer of his for years.
