I was able to find a nice BU 1932 D key date at my local show this past weekend which finished my quarter set. I’m happy to have it complete.
If it helps I’ll post photos of the state and National Park quarters in their Dansco in silver proof. Than can it be complete?
This was the only year this type was officially struck, technically making it a complete series. Is it the cheapest possible complete classic coin series?
Well, I just posted this in another Ike thread, but I might as well share it here as well. I completed my 4th Eisenhower Dollar Dansco set.
Ike sets really are pretty nice. I have a set that is just missing a 1972 type 2. All uncirculated and proof. I may add the 1990 commemorative and 2013 5 star generals commemorative silver dollars just to be REALLY complete. My set is a mix of PCGS, NGC and Lighthouse slabs in lighthouse slab pages and a big three ring binder.
I think many missed my point. Even though you've "completed" the set, many continue to look for upgrades.
I know some of the purist will day these are bullion and not coins but I do love this set. One of my favorites for sure and it can be spendy for the keys and semi keys. The 97 and 98 are hard to find for sure.
