No point in continuing... Anyway, @Duke Kavanaugh as the high bidder you're closest to the $202.50 price.
For those wondering, the ACG slab is most likely a one-of-a-kind and had some spirited bidding. It took at least one other slab “fanatic” to get it to the final price. A bit over the top, but these kind of pieces jump around. Thinly traded and appeal to a limited market... I bought an Accugrade Ike $ sample from a dealer for $75 at a show. First one I had ever seen. Two weeks later I bought one on fleaBay that was overlooked (4 day auction ending Friday night) for $25. Two weeks after that, a third sold on fleaBay for $125. Those are the only three I saw for a year... so what's the right price? It's very different vs. commonly sold, popular items, like a Saint or a Morgan.
$15 I havent participated much in this thread but, for someone who LOVES to cherrypick dealers stock and then flip- this thread is my cup of tea. Idk that ive seen an Ike in a blue ANA holder. I wouldve bought it just because
I'll call it Duke almost had another. @GoldBug999 wins this round. I paid 30$. I didn't hesitate to buy this one. Not just because it has a wonderful luster to it, and surely would be graded higher today. But it was a coin I hadn't seen in an ANA holder.
I don't have anything to post right now, so if someone else can step in with the next coin, that would be great!
