Thanks. I thaught so. You guys are the experts i am only beginning. Did you see the small date 1982 penny i posted with it? Could it be copper and how can i tell?
Most of them are always going to be large dates. The small date is valuable for a reason. I haven't found one in 48 years. The curl of the 9 goes all the way around. (see photo) In the LD it points down to the foot of the 7. The point of the 9 is sharp, in the LD it is blunt. Liberty is usually weakly struck. In the LD it is a better strike.
