    DJP7x0s Sometimes Coins Arouse Me

My girlfriend thinks coins are stupid and she gets sick of hearing about coins and she gets sick about listening to me talk about coins. But.... She loves these cointalk scandals. Shes taken such a liking to these cointalk scandals, shes even started to miss her soap operas so she can follow whos cheatin who whos being true.
And shes been like this ever since ArizonaJack pointed out SeatedLibertyDimes. And when theres no new scandals for her to read on here, shes in SeatedLibertys feedback, comparing coins he bought to coins hes sold. LMAO

I would say cancel or fix your current auctions also. Put a reserve on the auction and not just that little statement " I reserve the right to deny sale of this item if final or winning bid is to low". I would think if you needed the money you would be happy to get what you could, rather than keep paying relisting fees.

Ron, The issue is that your practices appear to be in violation of eBay's reserve fee avoidance policy listed here. Specifically the line that says, "A seller is not permitted to misuse the Reserve price feature. Misuse includes:

Stating the reserve price of the item when the item has not been listed using the reserve price feature."

then you are also in violation of eBay's Seller Performance Policy as seen here. Specifically the part that says, "When a seller lists an item on eBay, and a buyer bids for and wins that item, the seller and buyer have entered into a contract that both members are expected to honor. If the seller doesn't live up to this agreement, it leads to a bad buyer experience and may result in negative or neutral feedback for the seller."

Regardless of your personal situation, you appear to have violated eBay rules and in light of your noncompliance with the eBay sale agreement you made with Bonedigger, if I were in his situation I would be pretty upset too.

I guess you learn something new everyday. lol I didnt know that it was a violation to state you could deny a sale. iI thought it was with in your rights. I have read it on so many auctions so i just used it, Heck half all my listings are copy paste jobs from other listings. becuase my typing skills are so bad. Sorry Bone. I didnt mean to get you all worked up.

Im gonna relist that coins and then go to bed, lol

    Ron,

I know that I am late in reading the posts in this Thread but here is what I think! Yes, you made some mistakes and Ben did not get the coin that he wanted. You can't really blame Ben for this problem as when you are bidding on items and paying for won items, you really don't have time to read an incoming email concerning an Auction that is about to end or just ended. If everything is cool between you two, then you (Ron) should offer the coin to Ben for a price that both of you can live with and let this matter be over with!

I reported him too, Squeaky wheel gets the grease!

Bottom line is, that when an Ebay auction ends. a BINDING contract exists between the winner and the seller unless both mutually agree otherwise.

Bonedigger should have his coin, you should have the money it sold for. You listed it, BE PERSONALLY responsible.

I have never sold coins on ebay, but I have sold radios and computer parts. One particular item sold for less then 1/3 it's worth. But I listed it, and shipped it, with no fuss and muss.

Laser quick payment is a GREAT THING!

Sometimes you just gotta take your lumps......it's only money, IT can be replaced, your reputation is harder to fix.

Ben should have that coin...you screwed him and then tried to make him seem like he did something wrong by 'PAYING PROMPTLY' WTF?? Most sellers love when you pay right away!! THEN you lie and neg ben for doing nothing wrong but win an auction, pay promptly, then expect to get what he won.....you lie on the 'revernge neg' (we all know crappy sellers do this to to use as leverage to keep a seller from giving negative feedback) and say he doesnt pay and lies. You are a bigger man than I ben (I am sure you know that already:) ) I would not have removed the neg, even if it meant me getting one from the guy who screwed me over. I know I would ban you from here.

Did you see the small print at the bottom of the listing?

"If this coins final winning bid is less then 2008 RED BOOK VALUE I must DENY sale. Sorry but I can not afford loss's."

What a two-faced weasel! eBay should boot him out.
