Here is a SLQ that I recently obtained that has a nice die crack on the reverse. Any insight into this as a known variety? Thoughts on grade and value would be appreciated.
Is that a crack by the star after the last s in states? I'm really not that familiar with grading Standing Liberty quarters but looking at PCGS photograde and the book Photograde I would guess VF-25. I'm usually wrong so wait for the opinion of more experienced members.
I don't know about any specific variety, but that is a nice circulated grade coin. That's exactly the coins I look for as part of my long term hold SLQ collection.
I take this comment back. Tonight, it doesn't look cleaned, and I'm in the VF category in terms of the coin's grade.
You missed a couple of them. (blue arrows) Here's the same die from the PCGS gallery, in AU58. Zooming in there's more of them, interior of the eagle. OP's coin seems to be later die state, as the PCGS coin doesn't have the one from upper left corner of D to star.
