1950"D" Nickel or just PMD?

    In cases like this it's almost always best to consider Occam's Razor.

    Gee-wiz guys, just because I had to use my fingernail to scrape stuff off of the date and MM to read them you are saying it won't have any value?! LOL! I know it is really, really rough but if it is a D I would at least have bragging rights!!

    So, is that mark too high for a MM? I will put it under the microscope tonight for a closer look.

    Just looks like damage in the area where the MM should be. I think I see the mark you're referring to, but it's too high to be a MM

    I'm not sure what you are asking:
    (a) is it a round disc with so much damage that it looks like a nickel :wideyed:, or
    (b) a nickel with a lot of damage? :confused:
