I picked up another 1956 Proof set today. Paid $50.00 even for it.

This arrived today, exactly what I was hoping for. 1925-S/S Buffalo Nickel FS-501. Value is $200-$300, cost a whopping $9.

Nice Buy!! Looks like a hammered strike that should go 64 with a good shot at 65. The fields look nice and flashy, I'm guessing semi-PL? That's my kind of raw Morgan. :)

Had to buy this when I saw it for $20. Love this look on Key Date Mercs but it’s so hard to find. @CircCam

Well, NGC liked it. Lower grade than I expected, though.

Amazing colours on that 1902 IHC! Nice grade too.

    I paid about $15 for this 1901.
How do you think it would grade?

Can't really read the luster, but a little retained red and relatively mark free surfaces. I'd go with MS61 BN, based on the images.

Approximately $30-$35 for this CBH. Nice die cracks.

Amazing price. Do many European collectors/dealers just not know what they have and sell it at a cheap price?

Yes, at smaller shows it can happen that a dealer prices his foreign coins (non-german) at very low prices. Specially in the years before Ebay.
I have picked up some really good deals that way over the years. I don't think this one cost me even $30.

Not exactly a proud example of cherry-picking skills, but the first good find at the local pawn shop in many months:

I thought about trying to talk them down on the quarters-only set, since it's got fewer coins than the 2017 full set, but naah...

This 1795 half cent cost about $25 - $30. Plain edge variety.
Pity about the corrosion spot on the reverse, but a nice coin otherwise.

    Another awesome coin, Eduard!

I for one have a theory that you found a magical well in Europe that spits out awesome rare US type coins when you drop small amounts of money into it. :)
