Hi all, So I was looking for information for @tommyc03 searching for a coin holder that can hold 3 Susan B. Anthony coins.. When I ran into this website.. Ready for a good laugh? .. This is truly sad!
I pray that this was really just a joke! https://www.artifactcollectors.com/...n-front-reverse-or-rim.-what-i...-114422.html
Do I have to dig out my 2 NAD's and see if there is no date on the edge? OK there's supposed to be an edge date.
Michael.. Did you carefully read what was asked? Susan B Anthony Dollar? That is a Sacagawea! Not a Susan B. Anthony!
Yes I read the whole thing. This person doesn't know the difference between an SBA and a Sac. Not sure if they changed the name of the Sacagawea to the Native American Dollar after the design change, when they took the date off the obverse and put it on the edge and changed the reverse every year. I think they became NIFC after the first 3 years 2009-2011. I picked up 2, 2009's MD.
Dude.. My thread has nothing to do with missing anything. Not about missing edge lettering nor missing dates... It is about the person thinking that the Sacagawea is a Susan B. Anthony Dollar!... Don't you get it?
Actually The United States Mint issued Susan B. Anthony one dollar coins from 1979 through 1981 and then again in 1999.
I get it. It's not the riddle of the Sphinx. He claims there is no date on the edge. Why are you so upset that some moron can't tell the difference between an SBA and a Native American Dollar? It's not the first time in history that someone has made a mistake. I was interested in knowing if there are NADs with no edge lettering. There is nothing wrong with that.
Just forget it.. You have ruined my thread I wasn't upset.. The others found the humor in that the person thought it was a Sacagewea and not Susan That's the ONLY point I was trying to make!
