Caused by my cheap little magnifying glass. Oh well lol, not much j can do about my image quality as of the moment. I dropped my phone in the sink and it drown so I get my LG G7 Thinq on monday, it's supposed to be one of the best camera lenses for cell phones. Here's to hoping
Closeups are always a challenge. As per your question, it's pretty close to undeniable that something weird is going on with that mintmark, maybe an RPM.
Looks normal to me. One time I washed an old BIC pen (far superior to today's crap where the ink is not ink and doesn't flow at all) in a pair of white carpenter pants. I got some great ink chromatography on one of the pockets a really nice rainbow.
