I'm more curious if you think this actually left the mint looking like this? To answer your question, YES this is most definitely PMD and you should wash and sanitize your hands if you touched this thing. Welcome to CT!
It looks like a 195? to me. Sorry but my eyes aren't what they used to be. I missed this one. Thanks for the correction. I took my wife shopping as today is her birthday. I received a state quarter in change and I thought the outline of the state was the greatest die crack I've found in change.
Ya 1995 D it’s not dirty looks as if struck with dirty die possible grease the reverse Is toned that color lam error not sure might just send in to have checked out Thanks all
No Just no. You have received the valued opinion of some really knowledgeable coin people. That coin is worth 25 cents US
If you were going to try and make any money off of it, you should just claim it as the fugliest quarter ever. It's at least top ten. BTW... how were we supposed to know it was rotated with no reference to that?
You know that and I know that, but the OP was inferring that it was later in the post without including that from the beginning.
Honestly, people like this should send in their coins to be graded. They deserve to lose money. Sorry if that’s harsh.
Please, sir; don't be so foolish. I certainly understand things can be very exciting when new, but one nearly sure way to lose that excitement is needlessly throwing money into the pockets of an entity (TPG) that couldn't care less about you. A better approach would be to just set the coin aside for a few days and invest a little time into learning. It won't take you long to realize your mistakes. Welcome to the forum.
Get that out to a TPG quickly. No one here knows what they are talking about. Everyone here is just jealous that you found it and they didn't.
