I am very new to coin collecting and came across a 1989 d penny that seems to have double die on the "T,E" on "STATES" on the reverse side. Any thoughts?

    Hi..
Your picture is not clear enough to make a determination if it is a Doubled Die or not.

With these copper plated cents the most common issue are DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling which is worthless doubling.
