I have access to some of the first 3 years, SQG. I'd be willing to make a trade for S mint quarters...

Thanks for the offer, but I do have a roll of each. The reason I'm looking for them from circ is my son & I are competing to see who can complete a set of those issued so far from circ. We started about three years ago and half our holes are from the first three years. As you know, the first three years are pretty low mintages, some of the 2012's the lowest.

WOW, has it been over two years since I updated this? Clearly, it’s time for an update to the cumulative sales for all S-Mint Business Strike AtB Quarters. The pattern continues as sales (and thus mintages) continue to decline, with several recent sold out rolls minted at under 1 million. The new lowest minted, and my favorite design, is Ozark at 906,840.

Like everything else, interest in these coins has waned for some. I continue to purchase one roll of each S-mintmarked quarter as they are released. I have always had a fondness for all of San Francisco's coins. They were always a special "treat" found in change in the days when they were actually minted for circulation. (ended with the 1974S Lincoln cent)

Yeah, I'm buying them too. The fewer that buy them now the better, they'll have their day when they're added to the folders/albums.
