Meow thinks the three coins are maybe MS64. And even with the extreme die polish, it wont be worth more than the grading fee.

Honestly, Meow referring to oneself in the third person is a little unsettling. Looking closer after reading rickmp's comment you can see changes in the coins surface like a progression. The 1-2 dings above the T and scratches on the tendon in Washington's neck are a couple. I may not be opening this members posts any meow.

I'd like to see the three coins photographed
next to each other, please .

Those 'die scratches' don't look like die scratches
    to me.

I agree, I'd like to see an image like that as well. The only reason I assumed they were die scratches is because they were on three different coins. But if they're on one coin, probably PMD.

Why are you deliberately being a jerk to Meow. What does Meow gain to trick anyone about the validity of three valueless coins? Meow is pretty sure you are saying you doubt the photos just to be cruel to Meow. But if you need convincing, Look at the three photos carefully. You will see differences between them. The struck through grease mark on the jaw is in slightly different shapes on each coin. Also one coin has a light scuff on the lower bust, One coin has deep scuffs in the same area; And then one coin has only light scratches there. Meow took the photos in the same light and tried Meow's best to photo each coin in the same position so they may be compared to each other. And from what feedback Meow has heard, Meow did a very good job at photographing three different coins in a very consistent manner.

No one is being rude here. Take one photo with the three coins in it and we'll believe you.

Wow what does Meow have to gain by fooling anyone here? Meow already put them in holders and put them away. Will dig them up again, but does not want to take them out of the holders. WIN_20181017_07_04_52_Pro.jpg

What does Meow have to gain by fooling anyone here? Look at the original high rez photos. Look close enough, and you can tell they are of different coins. They all came from the same OBW roll, they are all in the same condition. MS64 or so with some light stain spots here and there.

When one of the most noteworthy and recognized error experts in numismatics requests a side by side photo, it's certainly worth the effort to oblige. I don't think it has anything to do with being disingenuous. I believe he finds it worthwhile to offer his analysis.

Because your childish game of impersonating a cat was tiresome and irksome from your very first post. Your trolling is also tiresome and irksome. You are going on my ignore list.

Rick does have a point. If you have a case of Illeism ( referring to oneself as if another personage) ,as do some prominent politicians, movie stars, , sports stars, it is treatable. The species dysphoria of referring yourself to a cat is also treatable. If it is being done to draw attention and responsibility away from yourself , ditto. If it is just to try and stand out, we have had a list of people who have used animals for their avatar, and even space aliens, etc. but they tend to drift off to more receptive forums. The Avatar and the forum name is acceptable and no one should object, but if you expect to get respect and attention to the subject of coins it may be difficult. As I advise new members ~Read the Rules as the Forum wishes them to be utilized, not as a member think they should be. Welcome Jim

    Hi Cat 'Scratch' Fever -

I respectfully simply asked for a photo of the
three coins, raw, side by side, in the same
close up photo, without the plastic capsules.

The three pcs. in the caps don't cut the mustard.

If you can't, or don't wish to do so, that's fine.

So anyway, Meow does agree that the scratches do not look like typical die polish marks. And Meow would have never thought so too; But the fact that the coins where in a OBW roll (not on the ends) and the undisputable fact Meow found three such coins with identical scratches on them makes it quite an unusual find. Unless some one has another theory on how such a thing can happen. (A crazy guess could be that a jeweler with crazy skills made three such coins, and somehow secreted them to the facility that wraps the rolls.) Meow just wanted to share the neat find with other coin enthusiasts. That is all.

If you closely compare hits/marks it's rather suggestive.

That said, what a pile-o-dung this thread has needlessly become.

OK dang it, Meow will open the holders...…..Ya know some times the holders crack when you reopen them. And after Meow posts new pic, there had better be no more doubting posts; OK?
So you are saying that you can tell it three different coins right? Meow is wondering too why so much static over interesting, but no value coins. Now is Meow was attempting to sell them or get on TV because of it, that might be another matter. Anyway, Going to try and open up the holders and take another pic. (Wonders why this Cat has to care about what others think. Is it an insecurity kind of thing?)

Fred wonders why Bark thinks Bark is being attacked or not believed.
