    1.1 million served, 44k KIA, 54k wounded, 25k merchant ship crossings of the Atlantic, trained 130k allied pilots, spent $21.8 billion dollars and the 3rd Canadian Inf. landed on "Juno" beach on D-Day. Biggest battle was Italy at Monte Cassino.
