270 degree rotated 5 rupees coin

i have a 270 degree rotated 5 rupees coin of hyderabad mint and the year is 2001,also its edge is half reeded and other half is security edge,what is its value

Going to need photos. There are lots of errors coming out of India for generally $10-40.

Also, 270 sounds way more cool, but if you’re into geometry at all, you’d know it’s actually 90 degrees. Think about how one could tell it got turned right or left 270 degrees. Most likely, it got right or left 90 and no one mentions a coin with more than a 180 degree rotation; which is the maximum a coin can have. In that regard, a 110 or 130 degree rotation would be more interesting/valuable than a “270”.

yeah,it is 90 degree anti clockwise

 

also the same coin has half reeded edge .so does it increase its value

 

Okay, it's still 90 degrees, which is cool and I'd like to see the reeding to understand it. I'll hold off on assigning value until then.

i have a doubt on another coin, this is a 5 rupees indira gandhi coin,can you tell me what is this mark near the year 1984

 

looks like a die chip, but I've never looked at that coin to know if there was ever something there. I wouldn't consider that one to add much of a premium.

I need to see the edge to understand it and give you an accurate answer. There are many reasons why only one half is reeded, and most of the time, it deals with post mint damage. You can file the reeding down, for example. A weight for the coin would also help determine if any metal was removed.

 

problem is i dont have a smartphone to take a photo and at shops they cant scan the edge of the coin,so what do you think is the value of a coin that has half reeded edge and another half as security edge in general, i have two half reeded edge coins

 

in both the coins half security edge is also present,so i think it is not post mint damage

 

I wouldn't give a number for it, unless I could look at it and determine why I think half of it is reeded. I mean think about the minting process and how it would be possible that only half the coin got reeding. It doesn't add up to me, but I'm not an error expert. @JCro57 @paddyman98 @furryfrog02 help?
