And... One on my Best Friend found this ring that I also wanted to share.
18K.. He found it in an area that I previously had detected so I really envy him at this moment!

The second guy from the left found the ring.
    Army Sergeant Efrain "Cutthroat" Diaz
He was also the Best Man for my second Marriage!

Cool finds. The reverse on the asian coin is upside down. I believe the writing is hindi.

Sent it to a friend of mine who speaks Hindi. He said it is most likely a religious token based on some of the sanskrit symbols on there.

Your token may be from Bhutan or Nepal region. They use the 9 squares in a lot of their symbolism.

There are times I or we go out and we find silver.. But then there are days like this trip where we can find hundreds of coins and nothing really of intrests pops up. For example.. Last time I found a 1876 Indian Head Cent! My oldest find this hunt was a 1965 Nickel.

That is one hunk of gold in that ring..... Have you by chance kept any sort of running inventory on the cash you have recovered in your detecting years? I may have dreamed this but it seems I remember once you posting a large trough or container of some kind overflowing with coins you have recovered. Was that a dream I feeble mind had?

Yes and no.. A few months ago I finally visited my local Coinstar machine and put in all the Clad coins and Cents that were in good shape. I got back over $1000.00
It was getting overwhelming to store so many detected coins!
The silver and gold I want to soon weigh and get an estimated value in current precious metal prices.
The 18K ring is not mine so I can't include it :arghh:
