1968 D DDO quarter

    Looks to me like an ordinary worn out quarter, but wait until some of the other coin experts can pitch in.

    Ya not real sure myself . Going bye the lettering in god we trust mostly . Clearer in person

    IMO It's not a DDO it appears to be DDD( die deterioration doubling).

    not at all. You should first think it's just WORN circulated coin.
    Then think of the issues related to Die Deterioration, and Mechanical Doubling. Learn how to identify those FIRST.

    Don't even convince yourself it is more than what it is .. that is what MOST people do. If it doesn't look exactly, and *exactly* like a DD example then it's not.

    Search online for a good website that goes over DD coins and use that as a reference. If your said coin is not listed on the various *major* error websites then more than likely you are trying to convince yourself it's something that it is not.

    Thanks Sir . Was thinking ddo that had mass wear . My biggest problem is trying to learn to much to quick . And yes way to much thinking . I dont care about value i only care about learning and the hunt . Thanks again for taki g the time to help .
