1993 shows 1983 backwards What kind of error is this

    It’s a 1993 but on the back shows 1983 backwards.

    it is damage. a vice job. 2 coins in a vice squished together.

    Due to the condition of the coin, it is highly likely that it is post mint damage. The "1983" could just be a counterstamp.
