Suleiman of Tabaristan (787-789 AD) saw it as contrary to religious teachings to place a graven image of his face on his hemidrachm so he replaced it with a diamond enclosing the word good.
I have various Sasanian coins (they seemed the natural follow-up to my period of specializing in Parthians ) but have already posted most of them previously. Here's one I haven't shown before, a drachm of Hormuz IV (579-590 AD) minted in Yazd in central Iran:
