This is an old print error my father had laying around his house, and I was seeing if it was worthwhile to ebay it. I know very little about errors. This note is crisp, although the paper itself is a bit dirty. The corners are only slightly rounded, and it has a verticle center fold. No holes or tears.
Def has value as it is shifted far enough. It's hard to put a value on currency errors. There aren't really strict guides for them.
That has been the issue I have found as well. And just for the record, the reverse of the note is normal.
The reverse should be normal. I believe these notes are printed in three steps. The reverse is the first step. The obverse is the second step. And I think the 3rd printing is what you have here where the serial and seals are shifted.
Nice moderate alignment error. The heyday for paper money errors at the BEP during was the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Depending on condition the note could sell from $100 - $250.
