MS63, as other mentioned, a decent strike for a San Fran issue...

This time I have to agree with you :)

I’d not grade this coin any higher than 58 due to the weak strike and lack of luster. I can’t understand how some of you would grade it 65/66...? Have you ever seen a gem unc Walker?

If this coin graded 64, then I’ll resubmit all my walkers today :)

The high point on the obverse shows a little wear, so I was thinking AU58. After seeing so many people guessing much higher, maybe MS60?

62 is low on that coin; it might even be a mechanical error. I certainly wouldn’t judge other Walkers based on that result.

That must be a hint that yours slabbed 62...
If so, send it back. Must be a mechanical error. LOL

the hit above IN makes it no better than a 63.... but I'm going to say MS62 but wouldn't be shocked at a AU58

No hints; I’m just saying the other coin posted isn’t a 62. It was in a 63 holder before and definitely should not have down graded-unless the photo is extremely misleading (which I doubt).

I thought it was a solid 65 when I sent it in. It looks just like the photo.

And I wouldn’t question it in a 65 holder. It looks at least like a high end 64 in my opinion.

I'm thinking that NGC was seeing something we can't see in the images.

That is NOT MS-62. Send it to CAC and watch it come back with a gold bean. If it is the way it appears in the photos, that should be a 64+ at least. I'll tell ya, if I found that in a 62 or 63 holder, I'd snatch it up in a heart beat.

The OP coin is under a different type of light source. In my opinion, I think it has much better luster than how it appears in the image. That is how I am reading the images. Now it could be in a 63 holder, but personally I would grade it a 64.

This is very possible. It appears to be a luster bomb and struck very well for this date and mm.
