1962 dime 2.51 & 1964 2.52 weights any significance

    It is within the tolerance of the mint (2.5 grams).

    Just a fraction of a bit heavier.. as stated, within tolerance
    It could also weigh a bit less.

    It's supposed to weigh 2.5 grams.
    A hundredth or a gram or even 2 hundredths of a gram isn't much.

    Spec is 2.5 grams, tolerance was +/- .097 grams so range is from 2.403 to 2.597
