Off-center Key Date 1913 S Type 2 Buffalo Nickel

    This has got to be one of the coolest and most-unique US coins that I have ever bought. I took a gamble with bad pictures from an international seller, but it appears to be 100% genuine. A quick search did not reveal any off-center 1913 S Type 2’s to ever make the market, so this could be unique. I think it would grade VF.

    Very cool! I'd be happy to have that one in my collection. In plastic it would likely see a hefty premium at auction.

    Nice grab. It think it's got to have great market value being a key and a neat error.

    I think you've got something serious Buff collectors will 'fight' over.

    I was disappointed with my latest NGC order. Among their mistakes and 2-month wait time, this was labeled as a type 1. It graded EF-45 though.

    That's idiotic. That should be remedied right away by NGC with their profuse apology in writing. Mistakes happen...but that's pretty bad.

    Good luck with the fix.
