I would say the number grade is irrelevant with a coin holding such eye appeal. That being said, I'll wager PCGS called it a 67FS.
Although, looking at the PCGS plate coin for this date, I could easily see them giving this one a 68FS (the first coin has two HUGE dings, one on each side.)
Thanks, I haven't had many TrueViews, so I didn't realize how much they seem to de-emphasize luster. Figured I'd add mine as well. ...Wish I had their camera!
Beautiful coin! Great example. The full band of rainbow toning above Pluribus on the reverse rim is pretty neat. The obverse is an absolute stunner! $8?
It is a strange dealer. They have zero interest in or preference for attractive album toning. Fine by me! Except when: I pulled an UNC Walker down from the case, it was gold toned with a nice, subtle crescent rainbow. He said, what do you think? “I like it, I wonder if the luster is subdued from the toning or an old cleaning.” *he walks in the back with the coin for an odd amount of time* Comes back and plops a white walker on the table. “You just went back there and dipped it?” “Well yeah, that’s what you wanted.”
