GTG: 1841-O Seated Liberty Half

    I am at 50 to 53. I don't see enough wear to go lower.

    I'll guess that the holder say AU 55
    ...and I wouldn't have an issue with it if that was the case.

    Yeah when I put down 50 I was thinking it was a tad bit better than...but I stuck to my guns lol nice coin plenty of details

    I think it got a bump, because technically it sure looks like an AU50 to me.

    naaaaah, not enough wear along the thigh for a 50

    I guessed 53 but said I wouldn't have been shocked with a 55....

    I think they got this one right.

    Just by looking at the PCGS photograde Seated halves in AU50/53 I’d expect a 53 to have less wear. In order to justify a 53 nevertheless, the surfaces should be “more” original in my opinion. If the luster is great (can’t tell from the pics) well then maybe I could accept a 53...

    @okbustchaser - what do you think?
