I've been watching that one. I keep waiting to get the 90% off coupon from eBay and 20% eBay Bucks before I pull the trigger on it though.

 

What's funny is that when you look at the listing, 4 "similar items" appear at the bottom of your screen - all graded MS-65, VAM 11, Medium 5, and priced under $300.00 each! It's the holder premium!

 

Yes, it's rare you see it so clearly...

 

I bet the price would be similar for an original NGC Black.

 

Normally an NGC Black would go for more than a PCGS Regency as long as the coins were similar (i.e. both were MS 65 common Morgans). The Regency example listed above is overpriced in my opinion.

I agree with you. The Regency holder is definitely overpriced. I'd say it's about twice what it should be going for.

 

I've got something arriving in the mail tomorrow in case "The Duke" does not have anything he want's to post.
