Where did you hear that? It's worth about a cent. I think you eluding to some YouTube videos that deceive people? Also, there was ONE, (notice the low number) Denver minted 1982 Copper cent that was minted that is worth some money. But you won't find another in pocket change, or on the ground or along the banks of a river.

Also someone very harshly cleaned that coin, which if it was valuable would have drastically reduced the value. This one being worth only one cent doesn't really matter.
