    I actually much prefer the 1821-1902 design; much more majestic, in my humble opinion.

    I tend to agree with that. The 1935 reverse is similar in its rendering of St. George slaying the dragon to the 2005 sovereign which again, is a one year issue but IMHO, not the prettiest.

    Here is a 1935 Specimen Crown which were struck in lower numbers and to a higher strike quality

    And of course the Proof struck in very low numbers with raised edge lettering and struck in .925 silver.....PF63 CAM
