This message is being posted for SEGS Grading Service. Just for the record SEGS Grading Service is not part of the suit filed... No member at SEGS talked to or corresponded with the representing law firm, nothing was signed or authorized, nor was any money paid.
I agree. I also support the ANA as well. Unfortunately the ANA will have to spend more of their members' money defending themselves for doing the right thing.
If the statement being made here is correct and SEGS is being unknowingly used as a plaitiff then you can kiss this lawsuit goodbye. I find it hard to believe that it is so. I would ask lostlast1... where did this information come from ?
Unless it's a class action lawsuit, in which case you can actually list people as plaintiff's without their permission or even their knowledge (which seems odd to me, but have heard that said before). This doesn't look like a class action though, but I'm not a legal expert. If SEGS doesn't want their name on the lawsuit though that would probably be grounds for dismissal right there... again not a legal expert, but would sound like a compelling reason.
OK - I gotta ask, why is that you seem to think that SEGS is not a plaintiff ? That is a copy of the suit itself, a court record. And it plainly says SEGS is a plaintiff.
I hope the question is for the originator of the thread and not me. I can see the name on the documents and find the information at the start of the thread as questionable at best.
I didn't say I didn't think they were, but according to the OP SEGS claims they're not. According to the OP SEGS has claimed they're not part of the lawsuit. However they are clearly listed as a plaintiff on the court documents. That suggest to me that possibly they were named as a plaintiff without their knowledge and consent. Only other possibility is that whatever person from SEGS posted the info quoted at the top of this thread is either lying or mistaken.
