IMHO, you can find one with more luster for the same or less money in that grade. Here’s a recent sale.

+1 That coin looks dead... I'd hold out and get something you don't have to think twice about.

Yes sir! Peace Dollars are awesome, but you need to take your time searching. One of the reasons they’re fun and challenging to collect.

You buy as many 1921 Peace Dollars in that grade as you can for $31. I’ll pay you $40 for them.

The brilliance is gone on that one. IMO. I buy BU uncirculated and all with be MS. That is overpriced. The grading is overprice as well

I'm sure the coin looks better than what the photo is showing. Almost all his photos are flat even on Anacs MS64 coins.

Fortunately you can get BU uncirculated thru apmex for $31 plus $9 shipping. That totals $40. You can get them yourself and they are all MS condition. I've got my first order and I will order more. Unfortunately, I'm not selling them all. I only collect and grading companies are irrelevant to me. Peopl are getting fooled by them all the time.

@Robert91791 Not all peace dollars are equal. Only a little over a million 1921 HR peace dollars were minted, making it the fifth lowest minted peace dollar of the series (excluding the 1922 HR). I think an MS63 example, even one that dull, would be worth more than $31. Just my opinion.

By the way, a fine-12 1921 peace dollar is worth $100 according to USA coin book.

Yes and I agree with you, not all coins are the same. But when you are able to have access raw BU Uncirculated and yes I saw some that are really high. I'm only buying what I can afford that are BU Uncirculated and lately, What I'm seeing on coins received they are all MS. The ones are graded are just overrated and all irrelevant to me. I'm not buying them even though I can afford them.

I'm not expert on grading but as a collector have seen and some in possessions, that allows me to have an idea what MS is on certain coins. But to pay excessive amount is not in my card and I can't speak for everyone. I can only maybe share certain perspective and that is all. The rest I expect them all to disagree and that is perfectly ok and acceptable.

@Robert91791 Please send me a link to or picture of the APMEX site where you are buying uncirculated 1921 Peace Dollars for $31.

I respectfully think you’re mistaken. Maybe other dates, but not 1921.

Well my mistake, 1923 for $29. Yes 1921 its several hundreds and still they overpriced and overrated by grading companies. Yes the rarer the higher price it is. Well, I guess just wont collect that particular year. But there is no way I would pay $450. Again regardless, it is overprice and overrated. Imo.

    I got my 1922 for $31+$9 shipping.

Such a huge variation. Well, im not paying for that. I know mintage is low. Well I just have to look the other way and move on to other BU Uncirculated that I'm willing to pay for. For that price I would rather get a gold coin and there are some raw uncirculated that I can still get my hands on. I will get one definitely.

    Happy collecting folks.
