    Really? Why?

    It's a Cent.. Worth 1 Cent

Some areas of the plating was exposed on the rim. Plating issue that happened after it left the mint due to circulation damage and environmental damage.

I agree worth .1cent environmental damage not a mint error.

So! That makes it not a 1982d small date?

Here's a pic to help in the future for large and small dates.

It *is* a small date. But, it's a Zinc small date.

There are false youtube videos and stuff out there that make ppl think they can find another one in pocket change or CRH'ing. There's apparently *one* copper small date. If you buy it, then you'll have it. Otherwise you and a billion other ppl are falsely looking for another one.

    SMALL DATE “D” - Denver
    • 1982 D Small Date Copper plated Zinc
    • 1982-D small date copper (1 known to exist). This is the one all the fake youtube videos are made for thinking you can find one making it seem they are readily available and easily found.

But you should keep this zinc small date. So that you have something to compare other 1982 cents too. Because in 1982, 4 of the 8 (including the proof) are Small Date. The others are Large Date. So at least you'll be able to see and identify the difference now.

It is a 1982-d small date. A zinc one.

1982-d small date cents are only valuable on 3.1g bronze planchets.

As a new member, please be aware that you should ask the direct question, not just put "What's it Worth?"

It looks like a small date with environmental damage. Looks like it is zinc. What does it weigh?
