This is a serious question, how come the bundle I won was only $149 and the other went for $300? I am not very informed about paper money, I just want to be sure I got what I paid for, THANKS !!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150201527049&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=005 . http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270199379813 THANKS !!
Think of it like mintage numbers Jack except it's printing numbers. Yours had over 10 million printed whereas the other had 3.52 million printed. Actually I'm not confident with these figures without further digging but I think you can get the gist. Paper wears out much faster than coins and lower printings equals higher dollars. Not to worry. You done good on yours. clembo
cool...when I saw I was the only bidder it made me wonder, " why does no one else want this ?" I actually only bid to watch it, but ended up winning, yikes !!
I also worry when someone describes paper currency as "Brilliant Uncirculated." But maybe that's just me.
Been there - done that a couple of times. Always worried me also, but it worked out. One question - how do you know it is from Chicago?
Jack, It may be partially due to the fact that the bundle that you won has a little crumpling on the first note in the bundle! Also, I suspect more to the way it was listed as well as the difference in the Seller's Feedback ratings! Frank
also, the higher seller says: One hundred consecutive one (1) dollar star notes. yours is not as clear in the listing.
they arrived today, 1st bill has a crease from being put into envelope sloppily, but they are consecutive and as best I can tell, CU I'll debate myself as too keep them as a curiosity or break them into 5 packs on the bay.....
