Found this example recently and it definitely doesn't at all match the 1983 DDR-001 die in any stage, but it seems to be closer to the 1983 DDR-002 variety. Feedback well received and much appreciated. Also please excuse the crystal meth fragments, I dont have any other images and the coin is at home. (Just kidding its dust refracting sunlight)
The pictured die variety is of the DDR-001 (FS.803 if Im not mistaken), but there are 3 doubled die reverse varieties recognized and listed on Wexler's site and 2 varieties on the Coneca site. This one most closely resembles DDR-003, but may be machine doubled. I have several 1983 one cent examples I will load them all to this or a subsequent post to knock them all out but I am convinced I have a few DDR examples. One I will post now. It is in less than desirable condition but is undoubtably a doubled die in my opinion. I have currently 3 - 5 of these in AU 58+ condition. I have so many coins that I have discovered recently that i am pained when even considering posting them all in mass.
