I just looked for ‘74-D DDO’s in about 200 halves I had accumulated and found 2, sweet!

I’ve looked through several thousand and found a total of only 5.

Nice ones Berto! I have found a good many 1974-D DDO, 73 to be exact. I give a few to friends and tellers, but mostly save them with the best ones going in my Dansco albums.

Well, I worked on 17 rolls of pennies with my youngest two children. We found 5 wheats (all '40s and '50s), one CDN, and one dime. I pull coppers and keep track of how many I find. I've been doing that off and on since about 2009. There used to be a lot more copper than there is now. Most of the time now, I pull about 12% copper pennies.

I just finished a triple-set of boxes and, while I didn't find any 74d DDO's or Seated Liberties, it wasn't all a loss.....

    Half$ box #11: no silver but four NIFC's -- 03D(x2), 05D, and 10P

Nickel box #18: This box turned out quite nice!
    -- Pre-60 Cu-Ni: 40, 40S, 46, 47(x2), 47D, 48D, and fourteen from the 50's.
    -- WW2 Ag: 45D
    -- Impaired proofs: 01S, 86S
-- Almost dateless buffalo's: 1920 ("19" is gone but can barely make out the "20")

    Cent box #16:
-- ten wheats including a 30 and 37 (both are first finds for that date/mint)
-- a 55 Canadian. Even though Canada's are common, it's unusual for me to find them from that far back.
-- a 98 Wide "AM". This is the third '98 WAM I've found. Grades AU.

This represents about 10,000 nickels that I swiftly searched through. I’ve not yet taken a loupe to anything.

5x Liberty nickels and 26x Buffalo Nickels. That’s about 1x per 8x rolls. Top two rows of buffalos appear to be dateless with only 1x D mint mark. The rest are in chronological order. The 1913 is a type 1, no mint mark, next to it a 1915, no mint mark.

This one is a 1918-S with delamination on the legs and back, and sadly also a hit left of the legs.

Top bag is 1938-1955, bottom bag is mostly 1956-1960 with some random later dates in it.

About 45 silver nickels in total, with one still showing some steps and another very delaminated. That’s around 1x war nickel per 6x rolls.

Some misaligned dies, woodies, toned and delaminated nickels. Nothing too crazy, but fun to find.

I would have had a new box of pennies today.
But today was another Monday and things didn't happen as they should have.

No one, someone thought my 508,000 half’s searches for 2018 was 25 million. Not sure how they worked that math. Common Core math I guess

Yes, I kinda messed up, though my mom teaches me the old way not common core. I had though you said that you shearched though 500008 half dollars boxes. so I times 500000 X 500 =2500000

These won't win any beauty contests or make me rich, just some finds in the till at work. Two rim shots and a chip.
