Well, I guess this is evidence, the Lincoln rush is here. I have noticed an increase in my store for the high end grades and dates selling at an increased pace.

Trying to buy to replace inventory is getting more difficult, but this is insane, they lost me a cpl a hundred dollars ago....

Just so you know, 63 bid is $330

We watch dozens upon dozens of 1909-SVDB and 1914-D's go by on ebay, most of them are real even.

This is one tough date here, the 24-D, especially in a well struck original coin, possibly a 64, who knows, and the funny thing? It is probably worth the money, the priceguides are just plain wrong in some cases on difficult material.........

It's now up to $1148.76 with just over two hours left and it looks like it's scratched, too. Just made a quick check on Heritage and that grade in RB isn't asking more than $220.

This is just stoopid now, beyond insanity, I was going to go as high as 5, thats a primo coin, but now Im just a watcher

Eddie, the Heritage 63RB is a dog, I'll just have to keep waiting I guess

It isn't as spit-shiny as the eBay one and neither is the 64 on Heritage either. I wonder if that's why the bidding is so out of hand. Wait a minute, that's eBay, nope, don't wonder no mo...

??Wonder why the slab+coin isnt shown??......He probably put 1000 watts of light on the coin to make it look better. Same trick on the CSA cent sold on heritage last night...you see it by itself...nice and red with a tad of brown. In the slab....looks much darker.

    That's just plain stupid.

So when are the G-VG coins gonna get $50 or more? I'll have start watching and dumping A LOT of dates at that point.

G/VG/F/VF are common, well struck sharp wheat VF+ and better are moving. You can still buy 24-d's all day long for $35 but they will be avg coins, the better coins bring considerably more.

Like I said, they lost me around $500, when I left for work it was $300+, I was going to snipe at $500 but it was 8 something when I got home

I understand that Jack but I think they'll move as well. Plus I only have about $10 each into mine.
Could be getting near dumping time.

Geez, I might have to wait until after 2009 to finish my set, atleast till the prices settle. Might be the time to sell what I do have. That is just insane though, insane and stoooooopiiiiiiid.

    Phoenix
