"Holy Banknotes" of the Heavenly Kingdom of Great Peace

    I've been trying to do some research on the banknotes issued by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, for reference sake here is a 1 Tael "holy banknote":

    Unfortunately I've been able to find very little information about these "Shengchao", can anyone direct me to a website which has good images of them?

    Thank you for the link, because of your reaction I am now busy writing an article about the banknotes of the Ming Dynasty for Wikipedia. :)

    Around the early 1860's as the records weren't so well kept. Apparently no-one other than The Currency Collector write ✍ about these, and finding other scans than the above one online has proven to be an impossible task... but that single scan might suffice.
