1942-D Mercury Dime graded MS 67 FB by NGC with CAC green sticker.

 

There are enough varieties to have a top THIRTY for a single year?
One of the reason I don’t pay attention to VAMs. Too many microscopic variations.

 

What do PMDO and WRPM stand for?

What are the P, M and W for?

 

Added a couple nice halves over the weekend. Filled a big hole in the Barber half set and couldn’t pass up the Frank. The Frank looks 65 FBL to me. Top left set looks like it’s not there due to lighting angle in the picture, but in hand the lines are all there.

This one arrived in the morning mail pouch to beef up the Morgans.

There’s an astronomical price jump to MS67. (David Lawrence is trying to sell one for $3,500.)

 

Just got this in the mail today. Even better than I thought. Still has the pinwheel when moved in the light. Glad I spent the 46. EBay pics. Better in hand.
