How does this Indian grade and is it worth TPG?

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

We can't tell you anything from those pictures. You need to post pictures that are clear and in focus - the blurriness of those pics means we can't see the details necessary to give you answers.

Probably not. Hard to tell but lots of friction and contact marks on obverse. Cost of holder will add undo costs to an otherwise xf to au Indian. IMO.

Certainly one of the most iconic designs, obverse and reverse, the mint ever put out.

I love those Gold Indians. I don't think yours is worth the cost of grading but when I try and look at the blow up it gets fuzzy. It's a great design but the public rejected it as they felt germs would get into the incluse design and spread diseases. I have the full set of $2.50, including the 11-D strong D. I would like to add the week D but not at this time.

He's talking about the quarter eagles. The 11-D is the only real stopper in that set.

    $2.50, not the $5.00.

I believe that anyone can afford the quarter eagle set. The 11-D, strong D, goes for about $3500.00 in xf. The weak D is less. It's about the only gold set one can afford and is fairly easy to complete.
