Too much 'scratch' involved with that one. Way overpriced........

I think it is over-priced and in my mind, overgraded VG . IMO, Jim

It's ugly. Something much nicer could be found for the same money.

All of you are totally on point..... I wouldn’t pay half the asking price. What I’m trying to figure out, and my initial thoughts were- why did ICG NOT details this one?? All that porosity looks like it was sandblasted sometime in its life. Environmental damage anyone? I was shocked to see it straight graded.....

No need to lock it in. Come on now, just picture that for a minute. Use your imagination and just imagine the two top graders sitting in the grading room and this taking place. It IS hilarious now, isn’t it? See, nothing wrong with a little lighthearted humor.

I saw this post after I responded to your ignorant nonsense on another thread! What YOU consider to be only a little lighthearted humor, I consider to be a LIBELOUS personal attack!
Proving to me again that you are some "frisky," young, know-nothing kid who is trying to impress the knowledgeable adult numismatists here.

    You need to
stop imagining things before you and what you post is permanently disregarded by many folks here. The ONLY thing you got correct in these very distasteful posts is that the coin is in an IGC slab. The coin was graded in Colorado before the company moved to FL. I NEVER saw the coin!

What is posted here remains forever so I'm going to suggest that you remove your comments by using the EDIT option. If not, I'm going to report your infraction of the rules. Furthermore, you have made my :vomit::wacky::spitoutdummy::troll: list. I'm now following you.

It may be due to the fact that the two mentioned gentlemen have likely forgotten more about coins than you'll ever know, or it could have something to do with the fact you're conveniently ignoring market realities as well as simple business necessities. I'm sure there are other perfectly reasonable reasons as well, but you get the idea.

Hell, if lucky maybe one of the mentioned will show up and share his thoughts on the matter.

    Edited: See what I mean?

Personally? . . . I think they value-graded an ED coin that they felt deserved better than to be bagged.

I never said, nor claimed, I know more than they do, and you are correct with the above statement.

However, I find it quite interesting that Mr. Fazarri apparently lacks a sense of humor and became enraged after I clarified the intentions of my post.

You went after him in a joking way. He didn't find it funny. So apologize, edit your post, and move forward. Simple!

Try this :bucktooth: kid. You come across as a __________. __________, ______________,____________, and ___________. Oh, I was only trying to be humorous.

See, I do have a sense of humor. Now, please remove the libelous misinformation you posted about me. Thanks, and best of luck to you in the future. :cigar:

BTW, if I were a coin dealer I'd sell that coin as a F-12 anytime and sleep like a baby. However, as a dealer, it is a coin I would only purchase as a VG. As a collector, I would not buy it but virtually all coins have a home eventually. The value of the slab is the guarantee of authenticity.

You clearly didn't like when I called BS on you in another recent thread, so why should this be any different? No offense, but the "I'm joking" excuse is getting very old, and not only with you.

There's a difference between obvious lighthearted joking, especially when the other parties understand this, and supposedly "joking" in a manner that is insulting or could be viewed as slanderous. As said before, you're very new here and it may take some time for folks to figure out your personality. Hell, I've been here for years and most still don't get me, but doesn't matter. The point is that if you want to be taken seriously, simply give folks a reason to take you seriously. It's much harder to forget a first impression than it is a later indiscretion.
