Hello again. I just wanted to know the grade and rough value of these 2 coins thanks. The Quarter: The Morgan:
Sweet coins man, that quarter is pretty nice! :thumb: I don't know how to grade circulated quarters all that well, so I won't try on that one, (but that is a heck of a nice one, lol ), and I'll go AU on the dollar. :thumb: Phoenix
I could go VF on the 1934 Heavy Motto quarter. However, where do you see damage on the $? I see the obverse scrapes, but melt?
The scrapes on the dollar almost look like vericose veins. On ebay, you might be able to market this as a valuable error.
Just out of curiosity, the scrapes on the dollar would render it ungradeable with PCGS??? On the quarter, you guys are saying VF. Where on the quarter do you focus your attention to see the signs of wear that knock it all the way down to VF???
EF-40 on the 1934 Quarter and about $14! MS-60 on the 1921 Morgan due to the damage and about $18. Frank
I believe so, yes. Those are not bag marks, that's damage. Again yes. The minimum XF grade - XF40 reverse - High points of breast, legs and claws are lightly worn, but all details are clearly defined and partially separated. VF30 - reverse - Wear shows on the breast but some of the details are visible. All vertical wing feathers are plain. Most details in the leg are worn smooth. Now which one would say comes closer to describing that coin ?
