    Is this toning, sweat, or a fake error? Opinions for my 1995 $5 Proof Bugler... It came directly from the US Mint in a Presteige Commemorative Coin set of 6-coins.

    BTW It look like just a copper toning spot which a fair amount of copper exhibites over time.

    @Drawde starting your own thread would get more responses.
    By the way, I agree with the Duke that it's spotting (which does occasionally happen with gold coins).
