    Which detector do you own?

Oh man I don't have anything near that elaborate! Mine is only a Eurotek Pro with DD coil. Don't have that much cash to spend on something like yours. I'd like to be able to but no can do.

I started with a Whites Classic 5ID.. 6 years finding coins, gold and silver paid off to finally upgrade to the CTX.. I'm lucky to have access to NYC beaches!

Yeah you must be one of the ones I see on youtube picking up finds every 30 seconds or so. Makes me rather jealous I'll admit. Maybe one day. I started with a bounty hunter and I thought the Eurotek was a step up (and it was). Love to have one like yours. I'd spend my days (and maybe nights) using it.

My detector goes whacky near salt water so I couldn't even participate anyway.

How many hours would you say you have invested in that pile?

Wow! Incredible man. I guess your detector takes all the guesswork out that mine could only (maybe) emit some unknown tone to me. Very cool.

Paddyman I think I may have been wrong about you! Doesn't that just make you all warm and fuzzy? Appreciate the conversation.

I have a few things like that. Where I didn't remember where I got it (I know it was a park but not which one), or I found it in a pile of junk and realized it was good. So I have been more meticulous with my documentation.
Just for my own information, I like to know where I got my halves, dollar coins, silver and gold. The wheaties I don't keep track of, but I remember where I got my 1929, 1934, 1938-D and 1943-S. One of the halves I don't remember where I got it. My silver nickel, I just put in a bag and didn't look at the date until I got home and cleaned everything up. So it has to be 1 of 2 places. The 1929 I got at the same site and hunt as my Eisenhower.

Here is a fun one that I got years ago.
Still not sure of the beer that it is advertising.
Also not sure if it was a badge on a truck? or the side of a keg, Or just an advertising piece. IMG_0001_1.JPG IMG_0002.JPG

That's a nice wheat,to be dug up. It's crazy I dug a 1974d quarter that I needed for one of my books and it was in pretty good shape too.ill upgrade it when I get another but it was one of two I needed to finish,83d and 74d. I found the 83d in pocket change a week later lol.

I had some problems. Happy with the dollar coin. The ring is stamped 925, but it's a fake.

7 dime spill at the end. The ring says RL 925, but it says China, the RL could mean Ralph Lauren and it was plated over silver. Will get it analyzed. the little broken earring is marked on the back 923. The 923 seems real. It shined up the way silver does when you clean it. And there are some 923 marks in my online research.

Very short Saturday hunt. 1929 wheat and a silver ring. One of my locked spots was open so that was nice.
