A friend of mine who was an avid collector retired and has been in need of liquidating much of his collection. Today he brings me two Dansco's with the P, D, S and S silver complete. I totally did not need another state quarter set... But I now own yet another. However, this set is mildly redeeming in that it includes proofs and silver proofs..... Anyway, I felt I had to help a friend today. Are these things still holding any interest? Are they marketable at all? I don't typically sell my coins, but I may peddle this set.
I need to figure out how you guys locate that info. Thank you for that. Almost exactly what I gave him for them. He sold me some things this week that were a steal though.
i get on ebay and search for an item, then scroll down and click on "sold items". that'll give a good idea of where prices are really at.
