Well, I know Paramount put these general grades on these holders back in the day. Would this one be worth submitting for TPG . What grade would you expect?. Thanks

I believe they will grade and keep in original holders on the Redfields.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

The pictures are a bit hard to grade from, but that looks like a solid 64 with a shot at 65. My understanding is that most of these are lower grade than that. And definitely keep it in the holder - that's where much of the interest for this coin lies.

It’s a nice coin. But I believe I once read that exposure to the old Paramount holders can damage the coin. Is that true or just a figment of my imagination?

    I'm with Physics, 64, possible 65.

Here is another dollar I have in a Paramont holder, not indicated to be a Redfield. Which grade would you give this one and which dollar would you rather have taking into account date, mint, strike in relation to norm for date/mint and provenance.

    Definitly the Redfield coin ...why?
    The provenance....
The condition( there is a Scratch on the second coin)
